BCS Bowl Game Matchups
(TheSpread) – The final BCS numbers are in at as expected, Auburn will take on Oregon in the 2011 BCS National Championship Game. But who will play in the other four BCS bowl games this year?
According to latest college football bowl odds and oddsmakers from online sports book SBGGLOBAL.com, Cam Newton and Auburn has been made a 2.5-point favorite over Oregon in the BCS National Championship Game. The over/under total for that game has opened at 74.5 points.
The Tigers wrapped up their season with a blowout win over South Carolina in the SEC Championship Game. They finished 13-0 this season, which includes a perfect 8-0 record at home.
LaMichael James and the Ducks got a little trouble from Oregon State in the Civil War, but they eventually handled their business and soundly beat the Beavers 37-20 to wrap up their season. (The Ducks were 16.5-point odds favorites over the Beavers.) They finished the year with a perfect 12-0 record and went 6-0 at home.
Now all that’s left is to determine who will go to the Rose, Fiesta, Orange and Sugar Bowls.
According to the most recent BCS Bowl Projections, Wisconsin will meet TCU in the Rose Bowl, Oklahoma (the Big 12 champion) will take on Stanford in the Fiesta Bowl and Virginia Tech (the ACC champion) will meeting Connecticut in the Orange Bowl. It’s assumed that Arkansas would then battle Ohio State in the Sugar Bowl.
