Public Betting: Of the 15,000-plus wagers on tonight’s game, 57% of college football public bettors currently favor Wisconsin. College Football Free Pick: Take the Spartans. A lot of people underestimated Michigan State the first time these two teams met back in October, including myself. But whether you think the Spartans’ Hail Mary touchdown should have counted in their 37-31 victory, the bottom line is that MSU was in control of that game until the fourth quarter (as a 7-point underdog, no less). Granted the game was played in East Lansing and Wisconsin does have the revenge factor on its side but MSU should come to play once again tonight. According to latest college football trends, the underdog is 5-1 against the spread in the last six meetings between these two teams while the Spartans are 7-2 ATS in their last nine conference games.
2011 BIG TEN CHAMPIONSHIP GAME FREE PICK: MICHIGAN STATE SPARTANS +9.5
