Illinois is now 2-3 in the Big Ten following a 10-7 loss to Penn State two weeks ago. The Illini have lost three straight by a total of 17 points. Nathan Scheelhaase has thrown for 1,687 yards and 12 scores this season while also rushing for 501 yards and five touchdowns.
In terms of Injuries, Michigan linebacker Brandon Herron is questionable with a leg injury while offensive lineman Ricky Barnum is questionable with an ankle injury. Illinois offensive lineman Hugh Thornton is doubtful to play because of a knee injury.
