Southern Miss vs. Houston, Conference USA Championship, 12:00PM ET
The over is 6-2 in Houston’s last eight games in December and 10-4 in its last 14 home games. The over is also 11-5 in Southern Miss’s last 16 conference games and 8-3 in its last 11 games as an underdog. Both of these teams can light up the scoreboard and thanks to the suspect cornerbacks that litter Conference USA, there shouldn’t be much defense in this one. Look for Case Keenum to put up big numbers in his final home game.

LSU vs. Georgia, SEC Championship, 4:00PM ET
LSU has one mission and one mission only: Win the national championship. But before the Tigers can do that, they have one more test, which is to beat Georgia and claim the SEC title. Truth be told, even if the Tigers lose they’ll probably still wind up playing for the national championship. That’s because they’ve beaten three top 10 teams this year in Oregon, Alabama and Arkansas. Aaron Murray has had a terrific season but he hasn’t faced a defense like LSU, that forces quarterbacks of all skill levels to make mistakes. LSU is 6-0 against the spread in its last six conference games and 6-1 ATS in its last seven games overall.
COLLEGE FOOTBALL CHAMPIONSHIP WEEK FREE PICK: LSU –13
Virginia Tech vs. Clemson, ACC Championship, 8:00PM ET
While Clemson did pick up a 23-3 victory over Virginia Tech earlier this season, this is a much different Tiger team now than the one that took the field back on October 1. The Hokies haven’t lost since that day while the Tigers have lost three of their last four, including an ugly 34-13 loss to South Carolina last Saturday night. Virginia Tech is 5-1 against the spread in its last six games against Clemson, which is 0-4 ATS in its last four games and 1-6 ATS in its last seven neutral site games. Virginia Tech still has an outside shot at the national championship so expect Frank Beamer’s squad to be hungry and motivated come 8:00PM ET tonight.
COLLEGE FOOTBALL CHAMPIONSHIP WEEK FREE PICK: VIRGINIA TECH –6.5
Michigan State vs. Wisconsin, Big Ten Championship, 8:17PM ET
A lot of people underestimated Michigan State the first time these two teams met back in October, including myself. But whether you think the Spartans’ Hail Mary touchdown should have counted in their 37-31 victory, the bottom line is that MSU was in control of that game until the fourth quarter (as a 7-point underdog, no less). Granted the game was played in East Lansing and Wisconsin does have the revenge factor on its side but MSU should come to play once again tonight. According to latest college football trends, the underdog is 5-1 against the spread in the last six meetings between these two teams while the Spartans are 7-2 ATS in their last nine conference games.
COLLEGE FOOTBALL CHAMPIONSHIP WEEK FREE PICK: MICHIGAN STATE +9.5
