Navy is coming off a 27-24 loss to San Jose State three weeks ago and that snapped a two-game winning streak for the Midshipmen. Navy is scoring 29.9 points per game thanks to the fourth-best rushing attack in the country. Navy posts 313.7 rushing yards per game behind the play of quarterback Kriss Proctor, who has rushed for 817 yards and 12 touchdowns while throwing for 774 yards and seven scores. Defensively, Navy has been suspect, allowing 29.6 points per game.
Army is coming off a 42-14 loss at Temple three weeks ago. The Knights are in the midst of a three-game losing streak but like Navy, they have a strong rushing attack. Army actually leads the country in rushing at 350.9 yards per game but rank last in passing at just 48 yards per game. Raymond Maples is leading Army in rushing with 984 yards and four touchdowns. As a team, Navy is posting just 25.2 points per game while giving up 28.4 points per game on defense.
In terms of Injuries, Army linebacker Zach Watts is questionable with an undisclosed injury while Navy receiver Matt Shibata is questionable with a knee injury and cornerback David Wright is questionable because of a heel injury.
