College Football Week 10 Free Picks
(The Spread) – A couple of home dogs caught our eye this week in college football. Check out our picks and predictions for Week 10.
Thanks to Akron’s fourth-quarter rally against Central Michigan and Arizona State’s dismantling of Colorado, we were able to finish 2-2 with our picks in Week 9 but Clemson and Kansas State cost us a chance to finish above .500. That puts us at 21-15 for the year but following a couple of 2-2 weeks, we’re ready to get back into the win column today.

Texas Tech @ Texas, 12:00PM ET
The Red Raiders are one of the toughest teams in college football to figure out right now. One week after handing Oklahoma its first loss of the season, Texas Tech threw up a stinker at home against Iowa State last Saturday. A letdown was bound to happen but a 41-7 letdown against an average Cyclones team? Wow. Following two straight losses to Oklahoma and Oklahoma State, the Longhorns bounced back last Saturday with a 43-0 win over Kansas. Texas still doesn’t resemble the powerhouse team its often been under Mack Brown but the Longhorns are 5-1 against the spread in their last six games as a favorite while Texas Tech is just 3-7 ATS in its last 10 games as a road underdog. Buy the hook if you have to and take the Horns.
COLLEGE FOOTBALL WEEK 10 FREE PICK: TEXAS LONGHORNS –14
Texas A&M @ Oklahoma, 3:30PM ET
The Aggies have burned bettors all year, which has resulted in an inflated line. (That, coupled with the fact that the Sooners just made mincemeat out of Kansas State a week ago.) The underdog role should suit Texas A&M better than the heavy favorite, so take the Aggies with confidence. According to latest college football trends, A&M is 6-0 against the number in its last six November games while the Sooners are 1-8 ATS in their last nine games after allowing less than 275 total yards in their previous contest. Texas A&M has proven it can score on anyone. Now that they’re getting 14 points instead of laying them, you shouldn’t have to worry about a second-half meltdown as long as the Aggies keep things relatively close.
COLLEGE FOOTBALL WEEK 10 FREE PICK: TEXAS A&M AGGIES +14
Stanford @ Oregon State, 3:30PM ET
The Beavers have a way of stepping up when everyone least expects it. The Cardinal is coming off an emotional win against USC last week and now has to hit the road again. They should win, but 20.5 points seems like an inflated number based on the fact that Stanford is 8-0 against the spread this season. The home team is 4-0 against the spread in the last four meetings between these two teams while the Cardinal is 4-10 ATS in its last 14 games against the Beavers and 1-6 ATS in its last seven trips to Corvallis.
COLLEGE FOOTBALL WEEK 10 FREE PICK: OREGON STATE BEAVERS +20.5
Arizona State @ UCLA, 7:30PM ET
The Bruins proved last week with their 31-14 win over Cal that they’re not giving up despite their 4-4 record and they’ve played ASU tough over the years. According to latest college football trends, the Sun Devils are just 2-6 against the spread in their last eight games against the Bruins, which includes an 0-4 ATS record when playing at UCLA. ASU is also 3-9 ATS in its last 12 games as a favorite of between 3.5 to 10 points and 1-3-1 ATS in its last five games following a straight up win. On the flip side, the Bruins are 12-3 ATS in their last 15 home games versus a team with a winning road record.
COLLEGE FOOTBALL FREE PICK: UCLA BRUINS +8.5
