Texas A&M vs. Arkansas Free Pick
(The Spread) – Two ranked teams that suffered their first loss of the season will try to rebound at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington this Saturday.
Odds: Oddsmakers have installed No. 14 Texas A&M as 2.5-point road favorites against the No. 18 Arkansas Razorbacks. Both teams lost last week, as A&M couldn’t hang on against Oklahoma State and Arkansas was crushed by Alabama. The Aggies are 2-1 overall and 1-2 against the spread, while the Razorbacks are 3-1 overall and 2-2 against the number.
Line Movement: The line hasn’t moved much in this one, although it did drop off one of the magic numbers. Arkansas opened as a 3-point home underdog but early action on the Hogs caused the spread to drop to 2.5. It’s actually back up to 3 at the Las Vegas Hilton, but is 2.5 at most offshore books. The over/under total has stayed relatively consistent after opening at 62. (Although it has dropped to 61.5 at some books.)

College Football Free Pick: Take the Razorbacks. According to latest college football trends, Arkansas is 7-2 against the spread in their last nine games versus the Big 12 and 11-4 ATS in their last 15 games overall. Meanwhile, the Aggies are 0-6-1 ATS in their last seven games against the SEC and 0-8 ATS in their last eight neutral site games. They’re also 1-4 ATS in their last five non-conference games and 1-4 ATS in their last five games following an ATS loss. This is practically a home game for Texas A&M but the SEC remains the superior conference and should remain so when this one is over.
