Penn State is 8-1 on the season and 2-7 against the spread. Nebraska is 7-2 overall and 3-6 against the spread. The Cornhuskers have hit the under in 5-of-9 games while the Nittany Lions have hit the under in 7-of-9 games. The two teams have split their only two meetings.
Trends show that Penn State is just 1-6 against the spread in their last 7 home games while Nebraska is 7-3 ATS in their last 10 road games. Nebraska has hit the over in 14 of their last 19 games in November.

Penn State is 5-0 in the Big Ten and playing for a division championship but the distractions involving former assistant Jerry Sandusky. It is unknown what the status of head coach Joe Paterno will be with the team, but it seems his status is in jeopardy. In regards to football, Penn State is third in the nation in scoring defense, as they allow just 12.4 points per game. Offensively, the Nittany Lions are scoring just 21.8 points per game, which ranks 100th in the nation. The team has been led by running back Silas Redd, who has rushed for 1,006 yards and seven touchdowns.
Nebraska is 3-2 in conference play after a 28-25 loss to Northwestern at home last week. The Cornhuskers are scoring 34.7 points per game on the year, which ranks 27th nationally. The Cornhuskers have been primarily about the running game as quarterback Taylor Martinez has thrown for 1,545 yards and 10 touchdowns while rushing for 712 yards and nine scores. Defensively, Nebraska is holding opponents to just 23.1 points per game.
In terms of Injuries, Penn State running back Joe Suhey is questionable with a shoulder injury while Nebraska safety Courtney Osborne is questionable to play with an undisclosed injury.
