On the season, UCLA averaged 23.8 points per game while giving up 32.2 points per game. UCLA has been led this season by receiver Nelson Rosario, who caught 61 passes for 1,106 yards and 4 TD’s.
After a 6-0 start to the season, Illinois ended the year by losing six straight. The Illini went just 2-6 in the Big Ten and ultimately fired Ron Zook as its head coach and hired Toledo’s Tim Beckman to take over. This season, Illinois is scoring just 22.8 points per game while allowing only 20.1 points per game. The team has been led by quarterback Nathan Scheelhaase, who has thrown for 1,971 yards and 12 TD’s while rushing for 514 yards and 6 TD’s. Scheelhaase has been listed as questionable for this game with an undisclosed injury.
In terms of Injuries, UCLA safety Dietrich Riley (neck) and linebacker Sean Westgate (concussion) are both doubtful to play on Saturday while running back Donovonn Young is questionable with an ankle injury.
