LSU vs. Alabama Prop Odds
TUSCALOOSA, AL (The Spread) – There will be a lot of focus on the players when No. 2 Alabama hosts No. 1 LSU on Saturday night. Here is a look at some of the player prop odds that could define this game.

LSU will look to have its offensive support come from quarterback Jarrett Lee and running back Spencer Ware. Ware has been give over/under odds of 59.5 rushing yards for Saturday’s game while Lee has been give over/under odds of 15.5 completions.
Ware has rushed for 512 yards on 128 carries this season, which amounts to an average of 64 yards per game. The only two games he has not passed that mark is when he was limited to 6 carries or less. In each game that he has had at least 20 carries, he has surpassed 80 yards rushing. Ware will be facing the top rushing defense in the country though, as Alabama is giving up just 44.9 rushing yards per game through eight games. For Lee, he has thrown for 1,250 yards and 13 touchdowns this season. He has completed 98 passes through eight games, which is an average of 12.25 per game. Lee hasn’t needed to do much passing as the team is typically ahead late in the game. He has passed 15.5 completions just twice this season. Alabama is giving up just 14.6 completions per game on defense and only 135.6 passing yards per contest.
For Alabama, the focus is on running back Trent Richardson, who has been given over/under odds of 103.5 rushing yards on Saturday night. Quarterback A.J. McCarron has over/under odds of 2.5 for total touchdowns + interceptions thrown.
Richardson has run for 989 yards on just 149 attempts this season to go along with 17 touchdowns. Richardson is averaging 123.6 yards per game. In six games this season, Richardson has rushed for over 103 yards. He has gotten a minimum of 11 carries in every game and was only held in check by Kent State (37 yards on 13 carries) and Tennessee (77 yards on 17 carries). LSU has the third-best rushing defense in the country, allowing just 76.6 rushing yards per game. McCarron has thrown for 1,664 yards and 10 touchdowns with three interceptions this season. He has had just two games this season where he has went over 2.5 touchdowns + interceptions. The LSU secondary has allowed only five touchdown passes while intercepting 11 pass this season. If the Alabama running game can’t get established, it may be up to McCarron to make some plays, good or bad.
