College Football Free Pick: Take the Cardinal. According to latest college football trends, the Fighting Irish are 5-1 against the spread in their last six road games against Stanford and 7-3 ATS in their last 10 meetings overall versus the Cardinal. The road team is also 4-1 against the number in their last five meetings overall but Notre Dame couldn’t contain Stanford’s offense last year at home and won’t be able to do it this year on the road. Andrew Luck did throw two interceptions in last year’s 37-14 victory, but expect him to play better with the Cardinal’s national title hopes still on the line.
