College Football Free Pick: Take the Golden Eagles. According to latest college football trends, Southern Miss is 8-2-1 against the spread in its last 11 games overall and 6-1 ATS in its last seven games following a straight up win. The Wolf Pack, meanwhile, are 0-4 against the number in their last four bowl games and 1-5 ATS in their last six games overall. Nevada is unsure whether Tyler Lantrip or Cody Fajardo will start at quarterback, which shouldn’t invoke a ton of confidence in bettors. Usually when a team can’t decide on a quarterback the offense suffers continuity and against a very opportunistic Southern Miss defense, that’s not a good thing.
