The team has been without back Cierre Wood for the first two games because of a suspension, but he is back for this game to give the offense a boost. So far, the offense has been led by quarterback Everett Golson, who has thrown for 433 yards and 2TDs. In terms of Injuries, Michigan State guard Blake Treadwell is questionable for this game with a tibia injury. For Notre Dame, the Irish have running back Amir Carlisle listed as questionable with an ankle injury while tackle Tate Nichols is questionable with a shoulder injury.
