The running back has 431 yards and 3TDs through two games. On defense, the Bruins are giving up nearly 400 yards per game, including 217 rushing yards per outing.
Houston is off to a slow start as the Cougars lost to Texas State, 30-13, and then lost last week to Louisiana Tech, 56-49. Houston’s big problem has come on defense, as it is giving up 521 yards per game, including 246.5 yards per game on the ground. Offensively, the Cougars have had success, posting over 500 yards of offense a game. New starting quarterback David Piland has thrown for 791 yards and 5TDs in the two contests to lead Houston.
In terms of Injuries, UCLA running back Malcolm Jones has left the team while safety Dietrich Riley is out for the rest of the season with a back injury. Houston has no injuries to report.
