Both teams come into this game at 1-0 overall and 0-1 against the spread. Washington had a 21-12 win at home over San Diego State last week while LSU defeated North Texas 41-14 in its season opener. LSU has won 18 straight at home and both all-time meetings with Washington.

LSU really dominated in its win over North Texas despite not covering the spread. The Tigers out-gained the Mean Green 508-219 in total yards while also forcing two turnovers on defense. LSU got its first taste of new quarterback, Zach Mettenberger, in the win. He threw for 192 yards and a TD on 19 of 26 passing. Kenny Hilliard and Alfred Blue combined to rush for 264 yards and two touchdowns in the win as well.
Washington struggled in its win over the Aztecs last week. The Huskies had 328 total yards to 327 for San Diego State. Washington struggled to stop the run, as it allowed 199 yards on the ground, but the defense did force three turnovers. Offensively, Washington was led by quarterback Keith Price, who had 222 passing yards and touchdown on 25 of 35 passing.
In terms of Injuries, Washington has no injuries on the injury report while LSU has listed tackle Alex Hurst and safety Craig Loston as questionable with undisclosed injuries.
