Updated BCS Champion Odds
(The Spread) – The 2012 College Football Season is complete with two weeks. Here is an updated look at the odds to win this season’s national championship.

According to the oddsmakers, Alabama and USC are now equal favorites to win this year’s championship, as each has 3/1 odds to win. Other short odds to win are LSU (5/1) and Oregon (7/1).
Alabama is currently ranked No. 1 in the country thanks to wins over Michigan and Western Kentucky by a combined score of 76-14. The Tide have won the national championship in two of the last three seasons.
USC is No. 2 in the current AP Poll. The Trojans defeated Hawaii, 49-10 in the opener and then won last week at Syracuse, 42-29. The Trojans last won the national title in the 2004 season.
LSU is No. 3 in the current rankings. The Tigers have beaten North Texas and Washington by a combined score of 82-17. The Tigers last won the national title in 2007 and finished runner-up to Alabama last season.
Oregon is No. 4 in the current rankings. The Ducks have defeated Arkansas State, 57-34, and Fresno State, 42-25. Oregon has never won the national title, but finished runner-up to Auburn in the 2010 game.
