Miami vs. Florida St. Odds
No. 12 Florida State welcomes one of its biggest rivals to town on Saturday when it hosts Miami at 8PM ET on ABC.
According to oddsmakers at BetDSI, Florida State is the favorite at home, as the Seminoles are getting odds of -8.5 points against Miami. The over/under total for the game has been set at 51 points. Florida State has won five straight meetings with Miami, while the Seminoles are 3-2 against the spread in those games. These two have hit the under in four straight meetings.
Florida State is 4-0 on the season, 2-2 against the spread and 3-1 with the under. The Seminoles are coming off a 24-16 win over Wake Forest last week. FSU is now averaging 32.8 points and 405.8 yards per game on offense while giving up just 11.5 points and 281.5 yards per game to opponents. The team has been led by Dalvin Cook, who has rushed for 570 yards and six touchdowns, but he has a hamstring injury that has him questionable for the game. Everett Golson has thrown for 786 yards and seven touchdowns under center.
Miami is 3-1 on the year, 2-2 against the spread and 2-2 with the over/under total. The Hurricanes started 3-0 but suffered a 34-23 loss to Cincinnati on the road last week. The Hurricanes are putting up 37 points and 460.8 yards per game on offense, while the defense is giving up just 21.8 points and 344 yards per game on defense. Miami is led by Brad Kaaya, who has thrown for 1,094 yards and five touchdowns while Joseph Yearby has 424 rushing yards and four touchdowns.
