According to oddsmakers at GTBets, USC is the favorite at home in this game, as the Trojans are getting odds of -10 points against the Cardinal. The over/under total for the game has been set at 50 points. USC has won and covered the spread in the last two meetings with Stanford. Both games were decided by a field goal and went under the total.

USC is 2-0 on the season, 2-0 against the spread and 1-1 with the over/under total. USC defeated Arkansas State 55-6 to start the year and then defeated Idaho last week, 59-9. The Trojans are averaging an impressive 623 yards per game on offense thus far while giving up 356 yards per game. Cody Kessler is rolling, having thrown for 650 yards and seven touchdowns while completing 78.9 percent of his passes this season. JuJu Smith-Schuster has been the top target. He has 14 receptions for 281 yards and three touchdowns. Ronald Jones II and Tre Madden have combined for over 300 rushing yards and five touchdowns.

Stanford is 1-1 on the season, 1-1 against the spread and 2-0 with the under. The Cardinal started the year with a surprising 16-6 loss at Northwestern but then bounced back last week with a 31-7 win over Central Florida. Stanford is allowing just 255.5 yards per game defensively, but the offense is only producing 365.5 yards per contest. Kevin Hogan has led the offense with 496 passing yards and three touchdowns while Christian McCaffery has rushed for 124 yards. Bryce Love has added 135 receiving yards with a touchdown.
