According to oddsmakers at GTBets, Ohio State is the clear favorite in this game, as the Buckeyes are getting odds of -31.5 points against Western Michigan. The over/under total for the game has been set at 61 points. These two have no recent meetings but Ohio State has hit the over in 8 of its last 9 games following a failed cover.

Ohio State is 3-0 on the season, 1-2 against the spread and 2-1 with the under. The Buckeyes are coming off a 20-13 win at home over Northern Illinois where Urban Meyer was forced to pull Cardale Jones and put in J.T. Barrett at quarterback. Meyer is keeping Jones in as the starter, but the leash is probably short. Jones is 26 of 46 for 334 yards with two touchdowns and three interceptions while Barrett is 20 of 35 for 193 yards with two touchdowns and one interceptions. Ezekiel Elliott is leading the offense with 331 rushing yards and four touchdowns.

Western Michigan is 1-2 overall, 2-1 against the spread and 2-0-1 with the over. After an 0-2 start to the year with losses to Michigan State and Georgia Southern, WMU picked up a 52-20 win over Murray State last week. Quarterback Zach Terrell has thrown for 947 yards and eight touchdowns with five interceptions while Daniel Braverman has caught 40 passes for 398 yards and three scores. Jarvion Franklin has added 242 rushing yards.
