According to oddsmakers at BetDSI, Ohio State is the clear favorite to win this game, as the Buckeyes are getting odds of -21.5 points against Rutgers. The over/under total for the game has been set at 64 points. These two met last season with Ohio State picking up a 56-17 win at home, covering a 20.5-point spread.

Ohio State is 7-0 on the season, 3-0 in the Big Ten, 2-5 against the spread and 5-2 with the under. The Buckeyes are coming off a 38-10 win over Penn State last week but coach Urban Meyer made a chance to Barret as starting QB over Cardale Jones. Jones has thrown for 1,241 yards and seven touchdowns, but he also has five interceptions. Barrett has 249 yards and four touchdowns passing and 228 rushing yards with five scores this season. Ezekiel Elliott is lead the offense with 988 rushing yards and 11 touchdowns. The offense is averaging 37 points and 455.6 yards per game on offense while the OSU defense is allowing just 16.3 points and 302.3 yards per game. The Buckeyes have the fourth-ranked passing D, allowing just 143.6 yards per contest.

Rutgers is 3-3 on the year, 1-2 in the Big Ten, 3-3 against the spread and 3-3 with the over/under total. The Knights are coming off a 55-52 win at Indiana last week. They have now won two of their last three games. Rutgers is averaging 34.3 points and 448.8 yards per game on offense, while the defense is giving up 29.2 points and 447.3 yards per contest. Chris Laviano has thrown for 1,388 yards and 12 touchdowns to lead the offense while Leonte Carroo has 21 catches for 472 yards and nine scores. Robert Martin is the leading rusher with 437 yards and four touchdowns.
