SAN ANTONIO, TX (The Spread) – One of the more intriguing non-playoff bowl matchups this year will take place tonight when Kansas State meets UCLA in the Alamo Bowl at 6:45PM ET.
According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, UCLA is a 1.5-point favorite over Kansas State for tonight’s matchup while the over/under total is currently sitting at 59 points.
The Bruins have struggled to cover against Big 12 opponents, going 1-4 against the spread in their last five games versus that conference. They’re also just 2-5 against the number in their last seven games following an ATS loss and 2-9 at the betting window in their last 11 games after accumulating less than 170 yards passing in their previous game.
On the other side, the Wildcats are an impressive 21-5 against the spread in their last 26 games after allowing more than 280 yards passing in their previous game. They’re also 19-6-1 ATS in their last 26 games versus a team with a winning record and 7-3 ATS in their last 10 games following an ATS loss.
