2015 CBS College Football Game of the Week Odds: Auburn vs. LSU

Two SEC foes are set to collide in one of the big games this Saturday as No. 13 LSU host No. 18 Auburn at 3:30PM ET on CBS.

According to oddsmakers at MyBookie, LSU is favored at home in this game, as the Tigers are getting odds of -7.5 points against Auburn. The over/under total for the contest has been set at 49.5 points. LSU has won six of its last eight against Auburn, but Auburn has covered the spread in three straight against LSU.

LSU opened the season with a 21-19 win at Mississippi State last week. The Tigers failed to cover the 3-point spread in the win while going under the 52.5 points. The Tigers were actually outgained 378-337 in the victory, but LSU held Mississippi State to 3 of 15 on third down efficiency. Leonard Fournette led the LSU offense with 159 rushing yards and three touchdowns while quarterback Brandon Harris was just 9 of 14 passing for 71 yards while rushing for 48 yards on five attempts.

Auburn is 2-0 on the season, 0-2 against the spread and 1-0-1 with the under. Auburn defeated Louisville in the season opener, 31-24, and then the Tigers escaped with a 27-20 win at home over Jacksonville State. Auburn is averaging just 364 yards of offense per game this season while giving up 421.5 yards per contest to opposing teams. Jeremy Johnson has thrown for just 373 yards with three touchdowns and five interceptions while Peyton Barber has rushed for 240 yards and a score.
