According to oddsmakers from online sports book Mybookie.ag, the Longhorns are 6-point home underdogs versus the Bears after opening as a 7-point dog. The total, meanwhile, is sitting at 58 after opening at 60.5 points.
Texas bounced back to beat Rice last week but the Longhorns had just 11 first downs and 277 total yards, while allowing 462 yards.
California routed San Diego State 35-7 last week as quarterback Jared Goff tossed three touchdowns and 321 yards. Texas has already changed offensive coordinators in mid-season but that won’t be enough against Goff and a Cal team that has improved on defense and has an explosive offense.
