Idaho vs. USC Odds
No. 8 USC looks to pick up another sizable victory on Saturday when the Trojans host Idaho at 8PM ET on the Pac-12 Network.
According to oddsmakers at BetDSI, USC is a very heavy favorite, as the Trojans are getting odds of -43 points against the Vandals on Saturday. The over/under total for the game has been set at 66 points. These two haven’t met since 2007, when Idaho got a 38-10 win at home. However, the Vandals were getting 49 points.
USC started the year with a 55-6 win over Arkansas State at home last Saturday. The Trojans covered the 27-point spread with ease, but did go under the 66.5-point total. The Trojans actually gave up 401 yards to Arkansas State, but forced four turnovers and stopped the Red Wolves four times on fourth down. The Trojans racked up 509 total yards of offense in the win with Cody Kessler leading the charge. He threw for 236 yards and four touchdowns while Tre Madden rushed for 106 yards and a touchdown on just 12 carries.
Idaho started the season with a 45-28 loss at home to Ohio. The Vandals were getting 6.5 points, so they didn’t quite cover. However, Idaho did go over the 57-point total. Idaho had just under 400 yards of offense in the loss, while allowing the Bobcats to total 490 yards. Idaho also had three turnovers in the loss. Idaho was led by Matt Linehan, who threw for 297 yards and one touchdowns, but also had two interceptions. Receiver Dezmon Epps caught 15 passes for 160 yards.
