According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the Tigers are 22.5-point home favorites versus the Huskies after opening as 22.5-point faves. As for the total, it opened at 42.5 and has dropped to 41.5.

Quarterback Maty Mauk completed just 16-of-36 passes for 148 yards with three touchdowns and two interceptions as Missouri escaped with a 27-20 win over Arkansas State last week. Mauk has freshman Drew Lock breathing down his neck so it’s time for him to put together a good performance. While Connecticut should offer Mauk and Co. an early challenge, the Huskies’ offense combined to score just 42 points versus Villanova and Army, which are hardly college football powerhouses.

The Huskies are 1-6 against the spread in their last seven non-conference games and 1-6 ATS in their last seven games in September. They’re also just 4-16-1 ATS in their last 21 games following an ATS loss and 3-12-1 ATS in their last 16 games coming off a win.
