According to oddsmakers from online sports book Mybookie.ag, the Gators are 7-point home underdogs versus the Rebels, while the over/under total is currently sitting at 51 points.
Coach Jim McElwain announced that quarterback Will Grier, after splitting snaps with Treon Harris in the first two games of the season, will make his fourth consecutive start. Grier led the Gators to an emotional come-from-behind victory over Tennessee last week but will be forced to keep pace with Chad Kelly and Laquon Treadwell in order for Florida to pull off the upset tonight.
The Treadwell versus Vernon Hardgreaves III matchup will be great to watch and while Florida has been outstanding defensively this season (18.2 points allowed per game), Grier will have issues moving the ball if Kelly and Ole Miss’ dynamic offense gets rolling.
