No. 5 LSU looks to have a rather easy game this week as the Tigers host Western Kentucky on Saturday at 7PM ET on ESPNU.

According to oddsmakers at MyBookie, LSU is favored at home in this game, as the Tigers are getting odds of -16.5 points against Western Kentucky. The over/under total for the game has been set at 65.5 points. These two met in 2011 with LSU picking up a 42-9 win, but WKU covered a 41.5-point spread.

LSU is 6-0 on the season, 3-3 against the spread and 5-1 with the over. The Tigers are coming off a 35-28 win over Florida at home last week. The Tigers got the win thanks to a fake field goal in the fourth quarter. LSU is averaging 37.3 points and 460.8 yards per game on offense thanks to its fourth-ranked rushing offense that posts 325.5 yards per game. Leonard Fournette is leading the nation in rushing with 1,202 yards and 14 touchdowns on the ground. Brandon Harris has added 812 passing yards with six touchdowns. The LSU defense is allowing just 23 points and 297.2 yards per game.

Western Kentucky is 6-1 on the season, 4-3 against the spread and 5-2 with the over. The Hilltoppers are coming off a 55-28 win at North Texas last week. WKU has won four straight by at least 27 points. The Toppers have a dynamic offense, rankings sixth in scoring (44 ppg), ninth in total offense (536.1 ypg) and third in passing (407.1 ypg). Brandon Doughty is second in the nation in passing, throwing for 2,709 yards and 24 touchdowns this season. His top receiver has been Taywan Taylor, who has caught 45 passes for 825 yards and 10 touchdowns. The WKU defense is not real strong, allowing 24 points and 439.3 yards per game, including 173.9 rushing yards per contest.
