According to oddsmakers at GTBets, Stanford is favored on the road, as the Cardinal are getting odds of -15.5 points against Oregon State. The over/under total for the game has yet to be set. Stanford has won and covered the spread in five straight meetings with Oregon State.

Stanford is 2-1 on the season, 1-0 in the Pac-12, 2-1 against the spread and 2-1 with the under. After a 16-6 loss with Northwestern to start the year, the Cardinal have bounced back with a 31-7 win over UCF and a 41-31 win over USC on the road last week. Stanford is now averaging 401.7 yards per game on offense and allowing just 312.7 yards per game on defense. Kevin Hogan has thrown for 775 yards and five touchdowns to lead the offense, but he is battling an ankle injury that has him questionable to play. Hogan has taken all but one pass attempt this year, so Stanford certainly will have questions if he can’t play. Christian McCaffrey could see an increased load either way. He has rushed for 239 yards thus far in the season.

Oregon State is 2-1 overall, 1-2 against the spread and 2-1 with the under. The Beavers have wins over Weber State and San Jose State while suffering a 35-7 road loss to Michigan. Oregon State has only posted 322.3 yards per game on offense this season, but the defense is holding opponents to 278.7 yards per game. The offense has been led by quarterback Seth Collins, who has thrown for 306 yards and four scores while rushing for 294 yards and two touchdowns. Storm Woods has added 227 rushing yards and a touchdown.
