EMU vs. Toledo Odds
No. 22 Toledo looks to continue its climb in the rankings on Saturday when it hosts Eastern Michigan at Noon ET on ESPN3.
According to oddsmakers at MyBookie, Toledo is the clear favorite in this game, as the Rockets are getting odds of -29 points against Eastern Michigan. The over/under total for the game has been set at 58.5 points. Toledo has won eight straight over EMU, going 7-1 against the spread in those eight games.
Toledo is 5-0 on the season, 2-0 in the Mid-American Conference, 4-0-1 against the spread and 5-0 with the under. Toledo is coming off a 38-7 win over Kent State last week. The Rockets have won three straight by double digits. Toledo is putting up 29 points and 413.2 yards per game on offense while allowing just 11.8 points and 344.8 yards per game on defense. Phillip Ely has thrown for 1,052 yards and six touchdowns to lead the offense while Terry Swanson is the leading rusher with 375 yards and three scores.
Eastern Michigan is 1-5 on the season, 0-2 in the MAC, 3-3 against the spread and 5-1 with the over. The Eagles are coming off a 47-21 loss to Akron at home last week and all of their losses this year have been by double digits. EMU is averaging 29.7 points and 401.7 yards per game on offense, but the defense is allowing 40.7 points and 495.3 yards per game. Brogan Roback has thrown for 1,242 yards and nine touchdowns this season, but he also has eight interceptions. Darius Jackson has added 585 rushing yards with eight touchdowns.
