2015 Taxslayer Bowl Free Pick
JACKSONVILLE, FL (The Spread) – In what should be a relatively low-scoring game, Tennessee will take on Iowa in the Taxslayer Bowl today at 3:20PM ET.
According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, Tennessee is a 3-point favorite over Iowa while the over/under total is currently sitting at 51.5 points.
As previously mentioned, this contest should be fairly low-scoring when you look at the trends. The under is 7-1 in the Hawkeyes’ last eight neutral site games and 5-1 in their last six bowl games. The under is also 4-1 in Iowa’s last five non-conference games and 7-3 in its last 10 games on grass.
On the other side, the under is 4-0 in the Volunteers’ last four non-conference games and 4-0 in their last four games in January. The under is 5-2-1 in Tennessee’s last eight games versus a team with a winning record as well.
