According to oddsmakers at BetDSI, Houston is favored at home, as the Cougars are getting odds of -8 points against the Bearcats. The over/under total for the game has been set at 72 points. Cincinnati has won five straight over Houston and the Bearcats are 7-2-1 against the spread in the last 10 meetings.

Houston is 8-0 on the season, 4-0 in the AAC, 6-2 against the spread and 4-3-1 with the over. The Cougars are coming off a 34-0 win over Vanderbilt and they have allowed just 17 points over their last three contests. Houston is now 18 nationally in scoring defense, allowing just 17.2 points per game. They also hold opponents to 339.9 yards per contest. Offensively, Houston is fifth in scoring (45.9 ppg) and seventh in total offense (538.1 ypg). Greg Ward Jr. has thrown for 1,954 yards and 11 touchdowns while rushing for 716 yards and 16 scores. Kenneth Farrow has added 751 rushing yards with nine touchdowns. Demarcus Ayers is the leading receiver with 55 catches for 712 yards and five touchdowns.

Cincinnati is 5-3 on the season, 2-2 in the AAC, 4-4 against the spread and 4-4 with the over/under total. The Bearcats are coming off a 52-7 win over UCF last week for their second straight win. Cincy is averaging 38.5 points and 576.9 yards per game this season while the defense is allowing 26.4 points and 376.9 yards per game. Gunner Kiel and Hayden Moore have each been playing QB this year. Kiel has 1,514 yards and 12 touchdowns while Moore has 1,434 passing yards and eight touchdowns. Hosey Williams is the leading rusher with 548 yards and three touchdowns.
