According to oddsmakers at MyBookie, Ohio State is the favorite at home, as the Buckeyes are getting odds of -19 points against Penn State. The over/under total for the game has been set at 47 points. Ohio State has won three straight over Penn State and the Buckeyes are 4-2 against the spread in the last six in this series. These two have hit the over in three straight meetings.

Ohio State is 6-0 on the season, 2-0 in the Big Ten, 1-5 against the spread and 4-2 with the under. The Buckeyes are coming off a 49-28 win over Maryland last week. The Buckeyes have put up at least 34 points in three straight games. OSU is averaging 36.8 points and 460 yards per game on offense while holding opponents to 17.3 points and 300.2 yards per game. Cardale Jones has thrown for 1,158 yards and seven touchdowns this year while Ezekiel Elliott has 835 rushing yards with 10 touchdowns. Michael Thomas has added 27 catches for 399 yards and four touchdowns.

Penn State is 5-1 on the season, 2-0 in the Big Ten, 3-3 against the spread and 5-1 with the under. Since losing the season opener, Penn State has won five straight to get to 5-1. The Nittany Lions are putting up just 25.2 points and 343.8 yards per game on offense, but the defense is holding opponents to 14.3 points and 275.7 yards per game. The Lions are led by Christian Hackenberg, who has thrown for 1,086 yards and seven touchdowns while Chris Godwin has caught 27 passes for 390 yards and a score. The leading rusher is Saquon Barkley, who has 373 yards and three scores.
