According to oddsmakers at BetDSI, Notre Dame is the favorite on the road, as the Fighting Irish are getting odds of -8.5 points against Pittsburgh. The over/under total for the game has been set at 53.5 points. Notre Dame has won three of its last four against Pittsburgh, but the Panthers are 3-0-1 against the spread in those four meetings. These two have hit the under in four of their last five meetings.

The Irish are 7-1 on the season, 6-2 against the spread and 4-4 with the over/under total. Notre Dame is coming off a hard-fought 24-20 win at Temple last week for its third straight win since a 24-22 loss at Clemson. ND is averaging 36.5 points and 495.5 yards per game on offense this season while allowing just 22.2 points and 360.9 yards per game on defense. DeShone Kizer has thrown for 1,669 yards and 11 TDs while filling in for the injured Malik Zaire. C.J. Prosise is leading the offense with 947 yards rushing and 11 touchdowns. William Fuller has caught 37 passes for 748 yards and nine touchdowns as well.

Pittsburgh is 6-2 on the season, 4-4 against the spread and 4-3-1 with the under. The Panthers are coming off a 26-19 loss to UNC at home last week, snapping a four-game winning streak. Pitt is averaging just 26.1 points and 364.9 yards per game on offense, while the defense is allowing just 22.1 points and 325.9 yards per contest. Qadree Ollison has rushed for 716 yards and eight touchdowns to lead the offense while Nathan Peterman has thrown for 1,373 yards and 10 scores. Tyler Boyd has added 63 receptions for 578 yards and four scores.
