TCU vs. Oklahoma Odds
No. 7 Oklahoma looks to continue a push toward the playoffs on Saturday when the Sooners host No. 11 TCU at 8PM ET on ABC.
According to oddsmakers at MyBookie.ag, Oklahoma is the favorite at home in this game, as the Sooners are getting odds of -11 points against TCU. The over/under total for the contest has been set at 67 points. Oklahoma has won three of its last four against TCU, but the Horned Frogs are 5-2 against the spread in the last seven of this series. These two have hit the under in four of their last five meetings.
Oklahoma is 9-1 on the season, 6-1 in the Big 12, 8-2 against the spread and 7-3 with the over. The Sooners are a game out of first in the conference but play unbeaten Oklahoma State next week. Oklahoma has won five straight, including a 44-34 win over Baylor last week. The Sooners now rank third nationally in scoring at 46.1 points per game and sixth in total offense at 545.5 yards per game. On defense, OU is allowing 19.7 points and 336.1 yards per game. Baker Mayfield has thrown for 3,082 yards and 31 touchdowns to lead the offense while Samaje Perine has run for 972 yards and 12 touchdowns. Sterling Shepard has added 61 catches for 1,003 yards and nine touchdowns.
TCU is 9-1 on the season, 6-1 in the Big 12, 4-6 against the spread and 5-5 with the over/under total. The Horned Frogs are coming off a 23-17 win over Kansas last week which was a week after a loss to Oklahoma State. TCU is banged up as well as receiver Josh Doctson is out for the season with a wrist injury while QB Trevone Boykin is battling an ankle issue that will keep him from starting tonight. TCU averages 44.3 points and 608 yards per game this year, but those two account for much of it. Boykin has thrown for 3,426 yards and 29 touchdowns while rushing for 596 yards and eight scores. Doctson has caught 78 passes for 1,326 yards and 14 touchdowns. Defensively, the Horned Frogs allow 26.2 points and 388.9 yards per game.
