BYU vs. Michigan Odds
Michigan looks to get its biggest win of the short Jim Harbaugh era on Saturday when they host No. 22 BYU at Noon on ABC.
According to oddsmakers at MyBookie, Michigan is the favorite in this game, as the Wolverines are getting odds of -5.5 points against the Cougars. The over/under total for the game has been set at 45 points. These two have no recent meetings but Michigan has hit the under in five straight home games and six straight non-conference games.
Michigan is 2-1 on the season, 1-2 against the spread and 3-0 with the under. The Wolverines are posting only 379 yards per game on offense this season while allowing just 236.7 yards per game to opponents. After a 24-17 loss at Utah to start the year, Michigan has since beaten Oregon State and UNLV by large margins. Jake Rudock has thrown for 582 yards and three touchdowns this year, but he also has five interceptions. De’Veon Smith and Ty Issac have combined for 367 rushing yards and four touchdowns.
BYU is 2-1 on the season, 3-0 against the spread and 2-1 with the over. BYU is posting 432.3 yards per game thus far on the season, but also giving up 402.7 yards per game. The Cougars had their first loss last week, 24-23 at UCLA. BYU was gashed by the UCLA run game, as the Bruins rushed for 296 yards in the win. Tanner Mangum threw for 244 yards and one touchdown in the loss while Adam Hine rushed for 149 yards and a score on 23 carries.
