Oregon vs. Oregon State Free Pick
CORVALLIS, OR (TheSpread) – For the Oregon Ducks, the mission is simple: Beat Oregon State and play for a national championship. But that won’t be any easy task against a pesky Beavers team that would love nothing more than to ruin their in-state rival’s season.
According to Week 14 college football odds and oddsmakers from online sports book Sportsbook.com, Oregon is a 16.5-point favorite over Oregon State this Saturday. The over/under total for this game is currently 64 points.
The Ducks head into Corvallis with a perfect 11-0 record and are 6-4-1 against the spread according to latest college football trends. They’re 5-0 on the road this year, although they’ve failed to cover in three of those five games.
The Beavers are 5-6 on the year but have covered in six of their 11 games with one push. They’re also 4-1 at home, although they’re just 2-2-1 against the spread at Reser Stadium.
College Football Week 14 Free Pick:
TCU – covered. Boise – covered. Arizona – covered. USC – covered. The only team that was ranked in the top-25 (at least some point this year) that the Beavers didn’t cover against was Stanford, which blew them out 38-0 last week. There’s no doubt that Oregon is an explosive team and they’re on a mission to reach the title game. But Jacquizz Rodgers and Ryan Katz are no pushovers and they can strike for big plays at any team. Nerves will play into this game, as Oregon needs one last victory to secure one of the top two spots in the BCS. But Oregon State will be playing with little to no pressure and the Beavers get the Ducks on their home field. We don’t think they’ll win outright, but we like Oregon State to cover.
