NC State vs. Florida St. Odds
No. 19 Florida State is out of the ACC title hunt, but will the Seminoles still rally together on Saturday when they host N.C. State at 12:30PM ET on ESPN3?
According to oddsmakers at BetDSI, Florida State is favored at home in this game, as the Seminoles are getting odds of -9.5 points against the Wolf Pack. The over/under total for the game has been set at 52.5 points. FSU has won six of the last eight against N.C. State, but the Wolf Pack are 9-1 against the spread in their last 10 against the Seminoles.
Florida State is 7-2 overall, 5-2 in the ACC, 5-4 against the spread and 6-3 with the under. The Seminoles are coming off a 23-13 loss at Clemson last week for their second loss in three games. FSU is averaging 30.6 points and 432 yards per game on offense this season while the defense is giving up 17.4 points and 344.4 yards per contest. Dalvin Cook has been leading the team this season with 1,231 rushing yards and 12 touchdowns while Sean Maguire has thrown for 585 yards and four touchdowns since being named starter a few weeks ago.
North Carolina State is 6-3 overall, 2-3 in the ACC, 6-3 against the spread and 5-4 with the under. The Wolf Pack are coming off a 24-8 win at Boston College last week. N.C. State is averaging 34.6 points and 403 yards per contest on offense while the defense is giving up just 19.7 points and 296.2 yards per game. The defense ranks ninth in the nation in total defense. Matt Days has run for 865 yards and 12 touchdowns to lead the team, but he suffered a season-ending foot injury recently. Jacoby Brissett is the starting QB and he has thrown for 1,798 yards with 14 touchdowns. Jaylen Samuels has run for 240 yards and has 467 receiving yards with 12 total touchdowns.
