According to oddsmakers at BetDSI, Clemson is the clear favorite on the road, as the Tigers are getting odds of -28 points against the Orange. The over/under total for the game has been set at 57.5 points. Clemson has won its last two meetings with Syracuse but each has covered the spread in one of the two games. The two hit the under in both encounters.

Clemson is 9-0 on the season, 6- in the ACC, 5-4 against the spread and 5-4 with the over. The Tigers are coming off a 23-13 win over Florida State last week to stay unbeaten and lock up their division in the ACC. Clemson has been solid on both sides of the ball as the offense averages 38.7 points and 488.1 yards per game while the defense is ninth in the nation in scoring (17.1 ppg) and fifth in total defense (288 ypg). Deshaun Watson has thrown for 2,246 yards and 21 touchdowns this season while rushing for 493 yards and four scores. Wayne Gallman has added 964 rushing yards with eight touchdowns.

Syracuse is 3-6 overall, 1-4 in the ACC, 5-4 against the spread and 8-1 with the over. The Orange are coming off a 41-17 loss at Louisville for their sixth loss in a row. Syracuse is averaging 27.9 points and 331.6 yards per game on offense, while the defense is giving up 30.7 points and 438 yards per contest. Eric Dungey has thrown for 1,298 yards and 11 touchdowns to lead the offense while Jordan Fredericks has run for 426 yards and three scores. Steve Ishmael is the leading receiver with 30 catches for 458 yards and five touchdowns.
