After suffering its first ACC loss in some time, No. 17 Florida State looks to bounce back this week when it takes on Syracuse at Noon ET on ABC.

According to oddsmakers at BetDSI, Florida State is the clear favorite at home, as the Seminoles are getting odds of -20.5 points against the Orange. The over/under total for the game has been set at 52 points. Florida State has won six straight against Syracuse, but the Orange are 2-2 against the spread in their last four with the Seminoles. These two have hit the over in three straight meetings.

Florida State is 6-1 on the season, 4-1 in the ACC, 3-4 against the spread and 5-2 with the under. FSU is coming off a 22-16 loss to Georgia Tech last week where it lost on a blocked FG returned for a TD as time expired. FSU is now averaging 31 points and 421.7 yards per game on offense while the defense is giving up 16.1 points and 326.4 yards per game. Dalvin Cook has been leading the offense with 1,037 rushing yards and 11 touchdowns while Everett Golson has thrown for 1,659 yards and 11 touchdowns. Kermit Whitfield is the leading receiver with 35 catches for 458 yards and two scores.

Syracuse is 3-4 overall, 1-2 in the ACC, 5-2 against the spread and 6-1 with the over. The Orange are coming off a 23-20 loss to Pittsburgh at home last week, losing on a field goal as time expired. Syracuse has now lost four straight games coming into this week. Syracuse is averaging just 30.4 points and 342.1 yards per game on offense while the defense is allowing 27.1 points and 398.3 yards per game. Eric Dungey is leading the offense with 1,020 passing yards and 11 touchdowns while also rushing for 260 yards and three touchdowns. Jordan Fredericks is the leading rusher with 360 yards and three touchdowns.
