According to Rivals.com, Alabama had the top recruiting class yesterday, landing a total of 24 recruits, 5 of which were 5-star talents. The Tide’s average recruit came in with a 3.83 rating. The second-best class was given to Florida State, which had 25 total recruits and a 3.72 average. Ohio State was third with 24 recruits at 3.79 average and Michigan landed fourth with 28 total and an average of 3.61.

According to oddsmakers at RealBets, Alabama is the favorite to win the national championship again next season, as the Tide are getting odds of +500 to win. Other short odds are Clemson and Oklahoma (+750) while LSU, Michigan and Ohio State are listed at +1200.

Alabama continues to recruit very well and this class shows that. Clemson actually came in with the second-most 5-star recruits, landing a total of 3. Georgia also landed 3 5-star recruits. Michigan and Florida State managed to make the top 5 despite having just 1 5-star recruit, but the Seminoles landed the most 4-star players at 18. Michigan had the most 3-star recruits of the top 10 teams at 12.
