Bet the National Championship Game

The underdog has cashed in four of the last four meetings between these two teams while the over is 5-1 in the last six games in this series. Georgia, after beating Oklahoma in a thrilling overtime game, is 4-0 against the spread in its last four bowl games. The Bulldogs are also 8-3 against the number in their last 11 conference games, are 10-3 at the betting window in their last 13 games after accumulating more than 200 yards rushing in their previous game, and have covered in six of their last eight games when facing a team with a winning record.

How has the Tide fared at the betting window? Not as good as you’d think. Granted, Alabama is 5-1 against the spread in its last six neutral site games. But Nick Saban’s squad is 1-4 against the number in its last five games in January, is 1-5 against the spread in its last six conference games, and is 2-5 at the betting window in its last seven games coming off a win.

The under, meanwhile, is 4-1 in the Crimson Tide’s last five games overall, is 4-1 in its last five games coming off an ATS win, and is 4-1 in its last five games versus an opponent with a winning record. On the other side, the over is 5-2 in the Bulldogs’ last seven conference games, but the under is 18-8 in their last 26 games coming off a win.
