According to oddsmakers from online sports book Mybookie.ag, the Crimson Tide would be a 2-point favorite over Oklahoma if it were to Michigan State in the opening round of the playoffs, and it would be a 3.5-point favorite over Clemson if the Tigers were to advance to the national title game.

Granted, things could always change due to a significant injury taking place in the first bowl games. But it’s nevertheless interesting to see how oddsmakers view the potential title-game matchups.

If Michigan State beats Alabama, the Spartans would be an underdog versus both the Sooners and the Tigers according to oddsmakers. Despite pulling off the upset, MSU would be an 8-point dog versus Oklahoma and a 6-point dog versus Clemson.

The Sooners are currently 4-point favorites versus the Tigers in the Orange Bowl while the Crimson Tide is a 9.5-point favorite over the Spartans in the Cotton Bowl. Both games will be played on New Years Eve, with Clemson-Oklahoma kicking off at 4:00PM ET and MSU-Bama starting at 8:00PM ET.
