According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the Huskies are 27-point home favorites versus the Sun Devils after opening as a 24.5-point favorite. As for the total, the number hit the board at 69.5 before dropping all the way down to 63.5 at the majority of sports books.

Washington has lost its last 10 meetings with Arizona State, although the last time the Huskies had an opportunity to snap a losing streak against an opponent it thumped Oregon earlier this season. The Ducks previous had a 12-game winning streak over the Huskies, which was Washington’s longest losing streak against a single opponent since joining the Pac-12 in 1916.
According to ESPN.com, the Sun Devils are looking to beat an AP Top-10 opponent for the third time in as many seasons. They’ve won two of their last three meetingds with AP Top-10 teams, following a stretch from 2002 to 2013 during which they lost 20 in a row to top-10 competition. ASU beat No. 8 Notre Dame in 2014 and No. 7 UCLA in 2015 before losing to Utah that same year.

OUR PREDICTION: The Sun Devils have struggled to cover the spread in recent road games, going 0-4 against the number in their last four games away from Tempe. They’re also 1-5 against the number in their last six games after allowing more than 280 yards passing in their previous game and are just 15-37-2 ATS in their last 54 road games versus a team with a winning home record. Washington quarterback Jake Browning is coming off his worst game of his season but will rebound against a defense that is allowing 387.4 passing yards per game and 37.8 points per game, which rank 128th and 115th in the nation.
