Arizona vs. UCLA Pick
No. 15 Arizona may once again be without starting quarterback Nick Foles when they travel to Pasadena to take on UCLA at 3:30PM ET on Saturday. Read on to check out the latest point spread and our free pick for this Pac-10 matchup.
Before we get to our free pick for this contest, let’s take a look at the current point spread.
Oddsmakers from online sports book BroburySports.com have made Arizona a 9-point favorite over UCLA in Week 9. The over/under total for this game is currently 49.5 points.
The Wildcats are 6-1 on the year and have covered in four of their first seven games. They’re also 2-0 on the road this season, although they’re just 1-1 ATS away from home.
The Bruins are 3-4 on the year and have failed to cover in five of their first seven games. They’re 2-1 at home this season, but are just 1-2 against the number in Pasadena.
Our Week 9 Free Pick:
The Wildcats may be without Foles, but that hasn’t been an issue with the way Matt Scott has filled in. Scott replaced Foles against Washington State two weeks ago and started against Washington last Saturday, which resulted in two wins for Arizona. The Bruins have dropped two straight and were outscored 95-20 in those two games. While UCLA leads the series 19-13-2, we don’t think the Bruins will have much success this weekend. The Wildcats are 4-1 against the number in the last five meetings between these two teams, while the Bruins are 0-5 ATS in their last five conference games. Our pick is Arizona laying the points.
