Arizona vs. USC College Football Predictions Against the Spread 11/4/17

Arizona vs. USC Prediction

Will Arizona pull off the upset tonight when it visits Southern Cal at 10:45 p.m. ET in Pac-12 play?

ODDSMAKERS LIKE: USC. According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, the Trojans are now 7.5-point home favorites to beat the Wildcats, who opened as 9-point road underdogs. As for the total, the number hit the board at 73 but has jumped a full field goal up to 76.

THE PUBLIC LIKES: Arizona. As of Saturday morning, the Wildcats are receiving 55% of the tickets.

HISTORICAL TRENDS LIKE: Arizona. The Wildcats are 5-1 against the spread in their last six trips to Southern Cal while the underdog has cashed in 10 of the last 12 meetings between these two teams. The road team has also covered in six of the last eight meetings while the under is 8-3 in the last 11 games between these two conference rivals.

WHO WE LIKE: Arizona. Wildcats quarterback Kahlil Tate has raked up 840 rushing  yards and eight touchdowns in his past four games while also posting 743 passing yards and six touchdowns. He became the first player in Pac-12 history to earn offensive player of the week honors four straight weeks.

USC, meanwhile, might have ironed some things out offensively last week in Tempe. That said, the Trojans have spent most of 2017 looking completely out of sync offensively, so it may have just been a one-week anomaly. Either way, I love taking Tate and receiving a touchdown and a hook. He’s been one of the most exciting players in the nation and could break one at any point tonight. The Wildcats are never out with him at the helm and I’ll gladly fade a USC team that has been overrated all season.
