Arizona Wildcats Game Notes
Jayden de Laura was 25-for-34 passing for 400 yards during Saturday’s 49-39 loss to Washington. /he also rushed 13 times for 41 yards. When all cylinders are humming for de Laura, Arizona has the ability to beat any team on any given day. Unfortunately, they met a potent Washington offense that simply outscored them. De Laura should still be considered a very solid fantasy option based on his average passing yardage and dual-threat capability.
Utah Utes Game Notes
Bryson Barnes was 17-for-27 passing for 175 yards and a touchdown during Thursday’s 21-17 win against Washington State. He also rushed eight times for 51 yards. Cameron Rising was a late scratch, leaving Barnes to sub as the team’s signal-caller. Without Rising, the Utes scraped out a narrow win, but the offense lacked the pop that it normally has. Rising is expected to return against Arizona, so Varnes will head back to the bench.
