Arizona gets big win
After a shaky start, Arizona picked up a marquee win last week when it defeated Cal, 24-17. The Wildcats are now 3-3 overall, 2-1 in the Pac-12, 3-3 against the spread and 5-1 with the under.
Arizona is starting to pick things up on offense, averaging 30.3 points and 445.3 yards per game this season. Khalil Tate has thrown for 1,412 yards and 11 touchdowns and four interceptions. He also has rushed for 109 yards. J.J. Taylor is the leading rusher with 600 yards and three touchdowns while Gary Brightwell has 303 yards. Defensively, Arizona is giving up 26.5 points and 428.3 yards per game. The Arizona run defense is really struggling, allowing 197.3 yards per game.
Utes hammer Stanford
Utah had its best showing of the season this past weekend with a 40-21 win at Stanford. That put an end to a two-game losing streak for Utah. The Utes are now 3-2 overall, 1-2 in the Pac-12, 2-3 against the spread and 3-2 with the over.
Utah has been led by its dominant defense this year. The Utes are giving up just 17.2 points and 296.4 yards per game. That includes just 75.4 rushing yards per contest. ON offense, Utah is putting up 25.8 points and 389 yards per game. Quarterback Tyler Huntley has thrown for 1,020 yards and five touchdowns to lead the offense. He also has rushed for 143 yards and two scores. Zack Moss is leading the ground attack with 549 yards and six touchdowns.
College Football Betting Trends
Arizona
Arizona has hit the under in five straight conference games and in four of their last five road games.
Utah
Utah is 5-1 with the under in its last five games following a win, but has hit the over in six of its last eight conference games.
Prediction:
While Arizona has big-point potential, the Wildcats don’t match up well with Utah at all. The Utes strengths should be able to expose Arizona on both sides of the ball. Utah isn’t a team that is going to light the scoreboard on fire either. They have a much more low-tempo style of play than most Pac-12 teams. I would expect the under to hit in this one as Arizona won’t match Utah’s physicality.
College Football Prediction: Arizona/Utah Under 51.5
