Hogs Trying to Stay Focused
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (AP) – Arkansas is doing its best to concentrate on football without Bobby Petrino.
The coach is on paid leave following the revelation he lied about being alone during a motorcycle accident last weekend.
The Razorbacks returned to the field Friday, less than 24 hours after athletic director Jeff Long placed Petrino on leave. Several hundred fans watched practice from the stands, their cheers noticeably reserved.

Assistant head coach Taver Johnson was put in charge of the team, which has big expectations for 2012.
The Razorbacks last year went 11-2 and were ranked No. 5, their only losses to national champion Alabama and runner-up LSU.
