Arkansas vs. Colorado State Total Pick
The Colorado State Rams were lit up for over 40 points in their first two games of the season. Will they also surrender plenty of points on Saturday night when they host the Arkansas Razorbacks at 7:30 p.m. ET?

Public Betting Trends

Arkansas Razorbacks
Arkansas redshirt sophomore QB Cole Kelley and junior QB Ty Storey are listed as co-starters for Saturday’s game against Colorado State. Kelley and Storey were listed as co-starters last week as well, with Kelley getting the actual start and Storey coming off the bench. It was the latter who was the most effective, but it’s worth pointing out that it came against an FCS opponent. Don’t be surprised if Kelley starts again, but expect to see both get significant playing time against the 0-2 Rams.
Colorado State Rams
Colorado State HC Mike Bobo lifted the suspensions of redshirt sophomore RB Rashaad Boddie and junior RB Marvin Kinsey Jr. No news was given about the reason for the punishments outside of Boddie and Kinsey being suspended for “violating team rules.” The two runners were also forced to sit out the first half of last season’s New Mexico Bowl, while Boddie was also hit with a brief suspension during fall camp in late July/early August. Boddie was previously considered the shoe-in for RB2 duties behind Izzy Matthews. We’ll see if he can remain active long enough to win that job.
Betting Trends
Arkansas
The over is 8-3 in the Razorbacks’ last 11 games overall.
Colorado State
The over is 8-3 in the Rams’ last 11 home games.
Prediction
There should be plenty of points scored in this one. Arkansas manged just 80 yards rushing on 37 carries but the combination of Ty Storey and Kelley combined for 350 yards through the air last week in the team’s win over Eastern Illinois. If Storey winds up starting again (which he probably should after he separated himself from Kelley last week), then the Razorbacks should throw all over a Colorado State team that gave up 43 points to Hawaii and 45 points to Colorado in its first two games. The Rams have a horrendous defense.
