Army Black Knights Game Notes
Bryson Daily compiled 258 total yards with 193 yards, 8-for-11, and three touchdowns via the pass in Army’s 57-0 victory over FCS’s Delaware State in the home opener on Saturday. Daily appears to have secured the starting signal caller over Dewayne Coleman. Daily also ran nine times for 65 yards for two touchdowns against Delaware State. The junior will probably have to throw the ball, which is very unlike Army, against UTSA on Sept. 16. The Roadrunners’ defense is in the top 15 this season against the run and were in the top 15 against the run last season.
UTSA Roadrunners Game Notes
Kevorian Barnes compiled 26 rushes for 103 yards and hauled in all three targets for 16 yards during Saturday’s 20-13 victory over Texas State. Barnes rushed for over 100 yards for his second consecutive game this season and has now done it in four straight games dating back to last season. Although it was not the most efficient outing, his 26 carries mark the second most of his career. The offense flows through him and he remains a high floor, high ceiling option moving forward.

Army vs. UTSA Betting Prediction
Give me Army. This is too many points to lay with a UTSA team that hasn’t been sharp out of the gates. With the total sitting at 61, the Roadrunners put up just 14 points in a 17-14 loss to Houston in Week 1 and then turned around and squeaked by Texas State 20-13 as a 13.5-point home favorite in Week 2. UTSA has played good defense, but its offense has sputtered and Army has mixed in morning passing with its usual dose of Triple Option. The Black Knights should keep this one close.
